Norman F. Liedtke
Norman has been President and CEO of Meyer, since joining the firm in 1983. Under his leadership the firm has grown from a small suburban interior design firm to one of the top 200 corporate architecture and design firms in the country with a major influence in the Philadelphia region. Meyer, is often recognized for its innovative marketing initiatives. The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce presented the firm with a Business Excellence Award in 2000, and the Customer Service Company of the Year Award in 2004. In 2000, Meyer received a Service Provider Excellence Award presented by Site Selection Magazine, and in 2003, the firm was named one of the Best Firms to Work For by IS Magazine.
In 2000, Mr. Liedtke co-founded NorthStar Advisors to deliver Project Management services to both the corporate and non-profit sectors. NorthStar Advisors has completed $500 million in property developments and recently launched a Museum division. Mr. Liedtke's career in international Sales and Marketing Management for FMC, a Fortune 200 company, and Richardson Vicks, an international pharmaceutical firm, brings a viewpoint and professionalism not normally associated with the commercial design field.
For the past 5 years, he has served on the committee for selecting the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Annual Best Real Estate Deals competition. Mr. Liedtke meets regularly with owners and executives in the Philadelphia region to consult on corporate culture, real estate options, business productivity and managing creative talent.
Norman received his Bachelor of Science, Finance Degree from Lehigh University, and his MBA, Marketing Degree from Drexel University. Norman holds a Real Estate License in New Jersey and if affiliated with the Union League, Philadelphia Country Club, Merion Cricket Club, Business Leaders Network, Lehigh Athletic Partnership Executive Committee.
Norm loves staying active by playing golf, tennis, paddle, spinning, yoga, and played professional basketball in the European league post college. Norm is intensely competitive, an avid reader and is fluent in French.
